The Gayville-Volin Board of Education is a five member group of officials elected at large. Each member serves a three year term.
Meeting are held once a month on the second Monday. For any changes in the location, time or meeting dates, please refer to the consent calendar passed during the July re-organization meeting.
Any person wishing to address the Board of Education should contact the Superintendent seven days in advance (if possible) and state the reason for addressing the board. Keep in mind that if you wish to address the board about a particular grievance or complaint, you must first go through the procedures outlined in the Board of Education Policy manual. If you wish to address the board about an agenda item, a time limit may be placed and equal time given to both sides of the issue. If one wishes to address the board about a staff or student issue, policy must be followed prior to your address and will be conducted in closed session.
